The Foundation solicits and receives donations from private individuals, companies, other non-profits and governments.
Significant Sources of Funding
- In September 2011 Mid Rogue Foundation was awarded a three-year grant of more than $770,000 through the USDA’s Rural Health Information Technology Network Development (RHITND) Program. These monies were given to the Foundation to help improve health care and support the adoption of Health Information Technology (HIT) in rural health networks. The Foundation was one of only 40 awardees across the country and the only one in the state of Oregon. The Foundation will focus on the adoption of Electronic Health Records (EHR), Meaningful Use and the exchange of key clinical health information in Josephine and Curry counties.
- Mid Rogue Holding Company of Grants Pass, Oregon provides financial support to the Foundation by allocating a percentage of annual profits to the Foundation.
- A number of individuals make significant contributions to the Foundation.

Our funding sources
State and federal grants
Mid Rogue Foundation solicits federal and state grant monies to support health care programs for children and seniors as well as to perform clinical effectiveness research, establish disease registries and to evaluate and disseminate information on best practices for rural providers. In addition, the Foundation intends to collaborate with local physician groups and technology vendors to solicit state and federal grants for the adoption of electronic medical records and health information exchange networks.
In addition to significant funding from the Mid Rogue Holding Company, theFoundation seeks contributions from other corporations and business entities.
Individuals are encouraged to help by donating money through this website. However, donations are not the only way we are asking people to help. If you have training in medicine, fitness or nutrition, your time would be a huge contribution. Also, volunteers with any background can help with community events, exercise classes and more.
